This elegant wall print was made using brocade silk fabric rescued from a late-1800s lyre-back chair. The silk - the original upholstery - was hiding underneath the needlepoint that had been added later. The fragile silk was carefully removed, hand-laundered, and mounted in a black oak frame made in northern Michigan. This one-of-a-kind print will add a touch of graceful sophistication to any room in your home!

  • The brocade silk fabric was rescued from a late-1800s lyre-back chair. The fragile silk was carefully removed, hand-laundered with a special detergent made for delicate fabrics, then left to air dry. The cleaned fabric was then mounted on acid-free photo mat board and placed in a black oak frame made in northern Michigan.
