This class will cover antique, vintage, and modern furniture construction and indicators of quality craftsmanship; offer tips on identifying worthwhile pieces to paint and/or refinish; and identify some common pitfalls for novice refinishers to avoid. Wondering whether a piece is worth saving from the curb? This class is for you!

Where Do I Start? Ensuring a Successful Project with Proper Prep

This class will cover prep, prep, prep! This class will explore the benefits and unique uses of the three types of furniture paint that Dee Dee’s carries (Fusion Mineral Paint, Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint, and Wise Owl One Hour Enamel Paint). We will cover how to select the right color for your project; when to leave natural wood and when to paint; and how to apply product to achieve a desirably smooth finish.
