Andrea can be found in the suburbs of Chicago, often at flea markets and estate sales searching for treasures.

Owner Dana Laureano, a.k.a. “Bad Betty,” is the designer behind the sarcastic greeting cards and sticky notes produced by her family-run business in Rockford, Michigan. Dana and her team create vintage-inspired  novelty gifts with sharp humor, retro style, and absolutely no interest in being sentimental. While the humor may be inappropriate, the quality is not. Bad Betty greeting cards are professionally printed in the USA on premium cardstock.

Betsy Stecker, owner of Big Mitten Linocuts, is a former educator turned linoleum printmaker who draws original sketches onto linoleum blocks, carves the illustrations in relief with woodcarving tools, rolls ink onto the cut lino, and prints the blocks onto paper or cloth, all by hand.  Big Mitten Linocuts’ art is inspired by pristine and natural places in northern Michigan, the mitten state. Big Mitten Linocuts has studios in Royal Oak and Presque Isle, Michigan.

CEO Roshan Roghani, daughter of founder Camille Beckman, runs the second-generation family business. Their signture Glycerin Hand Therapy lotion and perfumed body powders have beome a client favorite. Their Idaho factory sits on 35 acres of wild rose bushes along the Boise River, and was Idaho’s first green building. They partner with small retailers, buy ingredients from legitimate and direct sources, design their own products, and still hand-tie satin rosebuds on their packaging.

CeCe's Wool is the supplier of GOTS-certified organic cotton inserts for Dee Dee's décor pillows. It is owned and operated by Cecilia Tkaczyk, a farmer and former state senator from New York. All CeCe's Wool products are made in the USA. Most of the production takes place at Herkimer Industries, our manufacturer and shipping center in Herkimer, NY.  Herkimer Industries is the vocational division of Herkimer ARC, a nonprofit agency providing vital services and meaningful opportunities daily for 700 individuals with disabilities and their families.

Cellar Door creates handcrafted small batch artisan preserves and cocktail accroutrements along the shores of Lake Michigan using traditional techniques. Founded in 2016 by Zenobia Taylor-Braun, Cellar Door was born out of a desire to eat local and support small farmers and that is just what we do. Our preserves highlight the terroir of the Upper Midwest. Sustainability is important to us - we use very little plastic in any part of our process and we compost all organic waste. We carry both traditional and innovative flavors. Each jar is made with care, attention to detail, and love.

Back in Nova Scotia, where our original biscuit was known as an oatcake, Effie MacLellan learned a generations-old  family farmhouse recipe that she carried to her new home in 1950s Massachusetts. Effie's daughter Joan and her longtime friend Irene decided to share their family tradition with an eager public. Since 2007, our aim has been to make the best, most satisfying small-batch biscuit possible. Lightly sweet with a bright finish of salt, Effie's biscuits are more refined than a cookie and more dynamic than a cracker.

Owner Jenny Alexander started her career as an artist in the performing arts arena, and the design aesthetic of her work reflects her passion for history, romance, and travel. Inspiration from her art comes from antique advertisements, vintage magic and carnival posters, old personal letters, and antique photographs. She refined the productio process over many years, resulting in tile coasters that are incredibly durable. The art she creates in her studio outside of Philadelphia, PA inspires others to live a life rooted in the past without forsaking the modern sensibilities of today.

The A.I. Root Company - founded in Medina, Ohio in 1869 - revolutionized beekeeping worldwide through inventions that allowed for the mass production of honey. Today the company, still family-run, produces 20 million candles a year. Each candle is hand-crafted in America by artisans using processes mastered through five generations of craftsmanship combined with the latest in manufacturing technologies. Wicks are custom-woven on-site and many of the candles are made with domestically harvested pure beeswax.
