This accent table was manufactured by Kiel Furniture Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin sometime between 1892 and 1932. It was acquired locally. Its exact age and origin are unknown.
This solid wood table was in remarkable condition. The top was stripped, sanded, and refinished using Fusion Stain & Finishing Oil in Cappuccino and Natural. One of the medallion appliqués was lost to time, so a replacement was crafted out of two-part epoxy and colored to match. The legs were cleaned and oiled, then the entire piece was conditioned and sealed with Wise Owl Furniture Salve. [Artisan: ABP]
