This is one of two dressers we acquired locally that originally belonged to the seller's grandfather.
First, the badly damaged legs of the dresser were cut down, slightly lowering but greatly improving the stability of the piece. It was painted in a rich, deep, nearly-black hunter green: Fusion Mineral Paint in Wellington. To give it a more updated look, the ornamental hardware backplates were removed and the original brass pulls were cleaned and reinstalled without them. The entire piece, including the drawer interiors, was sealed with Wise Owl Furniture Salve. [Artisan: AS]
