Believe it or not, this beauty was destined for the trash heap. It was rescued from the curb in Metro Detroit.
Several of the veneered panels were badly scratched and dinged up, leaving little choice but to paint them. We opted for a sleek black (Coal Black by Fusion) to accentuate the sleek curves. Two additional coates of Fusion's Ebony Stain & Finishing Oil provide increased sheen and durability to the paint. The remaining wood surfaces were carefully striped, sanded, and reconditioned with Fusion's Natural Stain & Finishing Oil and Wise Owl's Furniture Salve. The original hardware was removed and carefully cleaned and restored, while the original glass was similarly cleaned to sparkle. [Artisan: ABP]
